AI Opportunity Hub — Marketplace Terms of Service

AI Opportunity Hub ("the Platform", "we", "us") operates an online marketplace that connects publishers of skills and tasks ("Sellers", "Posters", "Buyers", "you") with other users. By creating an account or using the Platform in any way you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not register an account and do not use the Platform.

1. 1. No agency, no escrow, no employment relationship

   The Platform is a neutral listing service. We do not employ, contract with, supervise, vet, endorse, or guarantee any user. We do not take possession of, transfer, or hold funds, deliverables, or communications on behalf of any user. All agreements, negotiations, payments, and deliveries happen directly between the parties who choose to contact each other through the Platform. The Platform is not a party to any transaction that originates from a listing.

2. 2. "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE"

   The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of content. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, nor that listings, profiles, or messages are truthful, legal, or accurate.

3. 3. No duty to verify users or content

   We do not conduct background checks, identity verification, skills assessments, or any other form of due diligence on users. User names, profile photos, listed skills, task descriptions, contact details, and any other content are self-reported. You are solely responsible for evaluating other users and their claims before entering into any agreement with them.

4. 4. User responsibility and "caveat subscriptor"

   You agree to exercise normal commercial caution when transacting with other users. Check identity, request and verify samples or references, prefer payment methods with dispute resolution (such as credit card chargeback or platform-mediated escrow provided by a third party), document the agreement in writing, and never send money or work product to a party you have not independently verified. If you suffer a loss as a result of a transaction with another user, that loss is yours alone.

5. 5. Prohibited content and conduct

   You agree not to post listings, send messages, or otherwise use the Platform to advertise, facilitate, or carry out: (a) any activity that violates the law of any jurisdiction in which you or the other party reside; (b) fraud, phishing, advance-fee schemes, or other deceptive practices; (c) the sale of illegal goods, counterfeit goods, controlled substances, weapons, regulated financial services, or adult content; (d) harassment, hate speech, or threats; (e) the unauthorized collection of other users' personal data; (f) the distribution of malware; or (g) any activity that infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party.

6. 6. AI-generated content disclaimer

   The Platform uses artificial intelligence to paraphrase third-party news content for display on the Platform. The Platform is not the publisher of that content. The original publisher retains all copyright. The Platform does not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated summaries and is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on them. Always consult the original source via the "Read Original" link on each news item before relying on its content.

7. 7. No liability for user-to-user transactions

   To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform, its operators, owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with: (a) any transaction, communication, or dispute between users; (b) any loss of money, data, reputation, or business opportunity resulting from interactions initiated on the Platform; (c) any third-party content, including third-party news summaries; or (d) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to the Platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD one hundred (USD 100), whichever is greater.

8. 8. Indemnity

   You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform and its operators from any claim, demand, action, or proceeding made or brought by a third party arising out of your use of the Platform, your listings, your communications with other users, or your breach of these Terms.

9. 9. Account termination

   We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing your account would pose an unacceptable risk to other users or to the Platform. You may close your account at any time from the account settings page. Termination does not relieve you of obligations that by their nature should survive (including the indemnity and liability limitations in this document).

10. 10. Changes to these Terms

    We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the version number and effective date at the top of this document and may notify you by email or by an in-app banner. Continued use of the Platform after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is material we will require you to re-accept the Terms before you can continue posting in the marketplace.

11. 11. Governing law and dispute resolution

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Platform's operating entity is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute between you and the Platform that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in that jurisdiction. Disputes between users are the sole responsibility of the users involved.

12. 12. Severability and entire agreement

    If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Platform with respect to your use of the service.
